Celje is an ancient city and Slovenias third largest after Ljubljana and Maribor and sits quietly on the banks of Savinja river, overlooked by an impressive medieval castle, one of the largest fortresses in Slovenia.
There are an infinite number of activities on offer in the surrounding area and to mention just a few we would like to include:
The Zipline at Celjska koča, a visit to the Technopark, a stroll around the beautiful Šmartinsko Lake, the City park and beach, tasting at the famous beer fountain in Žalec, hike to the Old Castle of Celje, which has a rich history and visit to the many cultural and historic points of interest throughout the city.

We revisited Celje after a very pleasant last year's stay and had absolutely no dilemma about booking this lovely apartment again. Superb in any sense, perfectly located with a private parking, spotlessly clean and offering all the necessities for a comfortable stay, well-maintained by the friendly and helpful hosts. Excellent value for money!
I and my husband have been in this apartment multiple times. I believe it is one of the best apartments in the city. The location is excellent, everything is walking distance (stores, hospital, public transportation). The apartment is newly renovated and very clean. It is a very quiet apartment. Close by is a very beautiful park, shopping centers and highway exit. If you rent apartments in the city center usually parking is at additional cost. This apartment also offers FREE parking which is rear in the city. The hosts are very friendly and nice. There are no worries they wouldn't be reachable. They are very responsive if you need anything. Their customer service is unbeatable which is very important to us. We will definitely keep coming back.

Namestitev je v neposredni bližini centra. Je odlično izhodišče za izlete v muzeje in druge aktivnosti v mestu, njegovi okolici in naravi. Apartma je nobl in daje občutek domačnosti. Skrbnica je prijetna in je poskrbela za vse informacije, ki smo jih potrebovali.

Perfectly located, spotlessly clean apartment, decorated with a lot of taste and attention to detail, fully equipped for a comfortable stay, spacious and airy. Free parking space is a big plus. Communication with the hosts was smooth, they were very welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would certainly come back when visiting the charming city of Celje.
